Why do we need a Hospice House?
Although most individuals desire to remain in their homes at the end-of-life, there are times when this is simply not an option. Hospice House provides 24-hour care to terminally ill patients and their loved-ones whose care cannot be managed in their home.
Imagine for a moment that you are in the final stages of your life, but are unable to remain in your home because your pain and symptoms cannot be adequately managed. Now imagine the option to go to a state of the art health care facility that is peaceful and comfortable, full of natural light, surrounded by beautiful gardens, and able to accommodate people that love you.
What you have just imagined is Hospice House.
Design features include:
- 12 large, private rooms that have the ability to accommodate family staying overnight
- A kitchen for preparing family meals
- A great room for family gatherings
- A prayer/meditation area for private reflection
- Porches/patios for fresh air
- Landscaped garden areas
- Area for children to play
The new Hospice House is located at:
2290 W Prairie Ave, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho 83815

Although the house is open and serving patients, we still have funds to raise and naming opportunities are still available... help us finish the Hospice House.
